Marriage Issues
No marriage is ever perfect—all marriages have some flaws, one way or another. A marriage isn’t all times good and all times bad—it’s a combination of both. Husbands and wives always have to deal with relationship problems and marriage issues. These issues can range from simple and small problems to real serious ones, but all of them are capable of breaking a marriage when not handled correctly. In fact, these problems are the reasons marriage therapy and counseling have become so popular.
Let’s take a look at three of the common marriage issues plaguing many modern couples:
What Are Four Major Marriage Issues
Every year it seems that the experts are putting together lists of marriage issues that are the most common. Even though there plenty of lists that outline the 10 top issues, going over the four top ones should suffice. They should be fairly obvious once you see them. More importantly, you will probably agree that these issues deserve top billing on any list.
Nearly every top four list begins by listing money as number one. More than any other issue, money seems to be the one people conflict about the most. Very often, money issues are more about control, and can manifest in the preference for separate bank account. It’s a point of conflict because one usually wants the separate account while the other doesn’t. Experts are quick to point out that arguments diminish when both parties have easy access to their own funds. Where this breaks down, at times, is when you decide to make large purchases without consulting your spouse. You would be wise to have all major purchases approved by both parties. The other aspect of this that creates marriage issues involves the lack of communication. This woeful lack of financial accountability also leads to major debt problems in some households.
